According to the old source, the throw sectors were developed with the DHB. Actions can be classified directly through court areas, making shot positions and spaces easier to evaluate.
Tagging
Contextual tagging.
Capture complex game actions together with the relevant scene characteristics. The structure created during tagging becomes the basis for precise analysis later.
Shot chart
Shot-chart report as PDF.
Shot charts become a clear analysis output for meetings, documentation and feedback, keeping attention on relevant throwing patterns.

Individual shot-chart videos.
Filtered scenes can be compiled automatically for players or opponents. Current product content confirms export, slow motion, replays and player information overlays.

Use case · DHB national teams
From the court directly into analysis.
Since 2014, videocoach has been developed together with the national teams of the German Handball Federation for handball video analysis. What started with match preparation, post-match review and self-analysis was expanded from 2020 with live tagging during matches.
Video analysis for national teams
videocoach supports analysis around the match, from preparation and self-analysis to post-match review. The requirements of the DHB teams feed directly into the further development of the workflows.
Live tagging during the match
With videocoach Live, analysis becomes part of the running match. Scenes can be tagged at the analyst laptop and in parallel on tablets in the coaching zone, then prepared for further coaching.
Video clips when they are needed
At the 2023 U21 World Championship, the live workflow was developed further: requested scenes are available to the coaching zone at short notice, so video clips can support immediate tactical decisions. Even video coaching for specialist players during attack-defence substitutions now provides another tactical option—one that the players themselves actively request.
Proven at the highest level
The enhanced setup was used by both German national teams at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, providing live analysis and immediate video feedback to the coaching zone. It demonstrated its flexibility and robustness in particular during the men's and women's quarter-finals against host nation France, each played in front of 27,000 spectators, proving to be a reliable part of the coaching workflow.
